Seahawk Pirate

Submitted to Show Off

We are from the Seattle area and so are Seahawk football fans. I made this snowman pirate from a special copper material used to seal secure computing rooms from electronic signal escape. It is very expensive, $25/foot. I use over 2 feet to maake the snowman. The good news is that I got at a surplus store for pennies. The sword is made from a brass paper fastener, the flintlock from jewelry parts and the rest I made from bits and pieces of things laying around the shop. It took several days to make and the hat was really a trick to figure out. I used a felt disk, toilet paper tube, some feathers from a Halloween mask and the Seahawk parts were purchased. It is a novel piece.
