Birdhouse Outhouse

A friend saw a birdhouse I made for another friend and said she'd like one to use in a guest suite in her home.  Since I knew it wouldn't be used outside and that it could potentially be used to store something, I added a "copper" vent stack to serve as a handle.  Since I used a wine box as the structure, I painted the front to look like a door and then realized with a little work, I could actually make a little "seat" inside as a surprise.  Since the front slides up, I made it so the seat could be removed to improve the storage but I'm guessing they'll leave it in for entertainment!  All of this is new for me so I embrace the imperfections that make it special.
