Corner Cabinet and Art Work

Submitted to Show Off

My oldest son asked me to make a corner cabinet for his living room, to which I agreed with one stipulation: It can't be just a plane old cabinet, it needs art work. I worked on this project for the past month of and on and got it completed into the second week of the the current competition. The cabinet is made from 3/4" birch vernier dense plywood, the doors are maple with walnut insert pulls, the carvings are made from walnut. It required two sheets for that plywood and two 8'x6"x 3/4" maple. The walnut was from one of my walnut trees I cut down 5 years ago. I used my new Multi-Max, 4300 rotary tool and my StyLo for much of the work.
