We’re excited to announce that we’ll be launching our next challenge very soon. The Green Thumb Challenge will open for submissions on April 9.
To participate in this challenge, you’ll need to create a project that can hold dirt, water and a plant – think planter box, flower box or even a dainty terrarium.
In order to submit a complete project in the challenge you’ll need to include:
• a photo of your materials before getting started (a “before” photo)
• a photo of your project being built (an in-progress photo)
• a photo of the completed project in use (show us that you’ve planted those marigolds or that your beans are sprouting)
And of course, you need to use a Dremel tool to make your planter!
Requiring these three photos helps us verify that you have completed your project yourself within the Challenge period.
Until we officially launch the project submission phase, here are a few projects you can use for inspiration:
So, start planning your projects now; the submission phase will be open from April 9 to May 9.
If you have any questions about the challenge, please drop them in the comments below. Maybe you have an idea for a project but aren’t sure how to go about it? We’d be happy to help get you started.
