Measuring tapes seem so old fashioned (and awkward). How would you reimagine measuring a room for a project? How do you envision your kids or grandkids will take measurements for a project in the future?

I prefer old school measuring, but I say the kids and grandchildren will get more into lazer lite measuring devices.

Always check it at least twice before cutting or shaping. If you have several items that will be the same length, height, or width having a pre-cut template really comes in handy. Especially for smaller items.
