What is the measure of man?

What tools do you use the most for measuring? Check all that apply.

Measuring tapes seem so old fashioned (and awkward). How would you reimagine measuring a room for a project? How do you envision your kids or grandkids will take measurements for a project in the future?

With the proliferation of lasers and other digital measuring devices I think the movement will be more toward the Metric System.  Replacing Yards, Feet, and Inches will simplify the calculations of fractions.
