Measuring tapes seem so old fashioned (and awkward). How would you reimagine measuring a room for a project? How do you envision your kids or grandkids will take measurements for a project in the future?

We had some work done on our house and he has a digital measuring device. It was really precise--showed me how it works and I want one.
